From across the room it reads as a classic black oxford: plain toe, clean lines, nothing to prove. Step closer and the surface comes alive — a fine silver-gray micro-dot that catches the light like smoke drifting under a streetlamp. Named for the deep charcoal of Italian tailoring, it's subtle at a distance and unmistakable up close.

The closed oxford lacing sits clean and close over the instep with slim dark waxed laces. Inside, a red leather lining adds a flash of color that only shows when you slip it on, and with a suede sole you can have the bottom in red too, a glimpse of fire that appears only when you move. The low heel keeps you grounded and connected, giving you the stability to lead with clarity and the sensitivity to feel every shift in the embrace. 👟 Full Sole — Stability · Support · Grounded
Maximum stability, support, and a grounded feel. A favorite among social dancers and those who value consistent floor contact.

✂️ Split Sole — Flexible · Articulated · Responsive
Enhanced flexibility and arch articulation, allowing greater freedom of movement. Popular with performers and dancers who prefer a more responsive feel.

Choose Your Sole Material

Every Mono shoe can be made with one of three sole materials. Choose the one that matches the floors you dance on and the way you like to move.

🧵 Suede — Softest · Most Grip
The softest of the three. Suede gives the most friction on the floor — ideal for dancers who want to feel anchored through every pivot.

🤾 Medium Leather — Balanced · Cushioned
Additional padding underfoot with a balanced grip on the floor. The middle path: comfort and control in equal measure.

💪 Hard Leather — Glide · Structure
The most glide and the most structure for the foot. For dancers who want their shoe to slide through a turn and support every step.
